Villi Kaldal found the back of the net for the first time in his Phoenix career in the win, with the assist coming from senior
Andre Baires. Baires also led the Phoenix defense to its first shutout of the 2019 season and collected Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week honors.
Scouting the Golden Eagles: Marquette enters Tuesday's matchup at 4-5-1 and 1-2 in Big East play. The Golden Eagles have dropped their last two contests, most recently suffering a 4-0 loss against St. John's. Marquette and Green Bay have met 39 times in the history of the two programs and Green Bay currently leads in the overall series, 20-14-5. The two teams haven't met since Sept. 1, 2013, however, which resulted in a 3-3 tie at Valley Fields.
