Set one (25-21) had the Phoenix take the lead on the road.  Throughout the first, both teams went back-and-forth, with neither side led by more the four.  Head coach Abbey Sutherland called a critical timeout after the Norse scored twice in a row to tie things up at 19-19.  The squad responded by claiming 6 of the final 8 points to end the set.  Green Bay had a hitting percentage of .250 and only committed 1 attack-error compared to Northern Kentucky's 8.

Set two (25-19) was very similar to the first set and had the Phoenix take a 2-0 lead in the match.  Beside the first point, Green Bay never trailed.  The Norse went on a 4-0 run to close the gap at 16-15, when Coach Sutherland called another timely timeout for the Phoenix.  The team then went on a 4-0 run of their own to extended the lead to 20-15.  A 3-0 run by Green Bay closed out the set for the Phoenix, with kills from Taylor Wolf and Anna Eaton, along with an attack-error by Northern Kentucky.

Set three (23-25) saw the Norse hold on and take the third.  Northern Kentucky opened up with a 1-5 lead and midway through were up 7-13 over Green Bay.  Nonetheless, the Phoenix clawed their way back and closed the Norse lead to only 2 points multiples times throughout.  The squad got as close as 23-24, but Northern Kentucky ultimately took the set.

Set four (25-23) saw Green Bay claim the match.  Early on in the fourth, the Phoenix led 8-3 but only held a one point lead midway through 13-12.  Northern Kentucky tied the match at 21-21, but Taylor Wolf took home four of the final six points to leave Green Bay to the victory.
