DAYTON, Ohio (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- With the game tied at 75-75, Wright State used a 13-0 run inside the last four minutes of the game to pull away from Green Bay on Saturday afternoon at the Nutter Center, winning 90-84 in the Horizon League opener for both teams. The Phoenix (5-9, 0-1 HL) and Raiders (11-3, 1-0 HL) shot an identical 29-for-64 (45.3 percent) from the field, but  foul trouble by GB and 18 offensive rebounds by WSU were a key part of the difference.

Green Bay trailed by as many as 13 points in the first half, and led by five midway through the second half in a back and forth game. Wright State finished with a 50-29 advantage in rebounding, while GB was whistled for 28 total fouls and had its leading scorer in Amari Davis foul out in the contest. 

Wright State was predicted as the regular season winner at the start of the season and entered the game with the best record among HL teams. GB will visit Northern Kentucky in its next game on Monday night, before reurning home for five games in a row.
