Sandy Cohen III nearly registered a triple-double to help Green Bay shoot past Detroit Mercy 82-76 at the Resch Center on Saturday afternoon. The win keeps the Phoenix (14-13, 8-6 HL) in the top four of the Horizon League standings after winning its fourth game in five tries, but will hit the road next weekend for games at UIC (Feb. 22) and IUPUI (Feb. 24).
GB shot 61.5 percent in the second half, and held Detroit Mercy (10-17, 7-8 HL) to 11-for-35 from 3-point range in the game.
ShanQuan Hemphill registered his second-straight double-double with 10 points and 11 rebounds. Cohen finished with 23 points and a career-high 14 rebounds, plus eight assists against the Titans 2-3 zone.
