INDIANAPOLIS - For the first time in his collegiate playing career, Green Bay men's golfer
George Kneiser has been named the Nike Horizon League Men's Golfer of the Week, the league office announced on Wednesday. It's the first award for Kneiser who has been playing some of his best golf of late, and earned the award following his team's opening week of spring play.

Playing in his first spring competition of the season,
George Kneiser finished T3 at the Twin Oaks Intercollegiate (Par 71) hosted by Missouri State. Kneiser finished 1-under par after shooting a second round 68, before the third round was called due to rain and lightning. His T3 finish help Green Bay take 5th place as a team. Kneiser and the team will now a take week to work on their individual games, spending time in Hilton Head, South Carolina, for a Spring Team Training led by head coach
Lee Reinke. GB gets back to tournament play on April 8-9 in Tennessee, taking part in the Big Blue Invitational in Nashville.
