GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's tennis team (3-16, 0-9 HL) concluded their conference schedule this afternoon, wrapping up their home slate with a loss against Milwaukee (13-9, 6-3 HL).
Although the Phoenix had trouble in doubles, each player put up a fight in their singles positions. "We had some great matches, especially at 2-4 singles, and we were so close to grabbing a set," remarked head coach
Brian Nelson.
The team has two away matches on tap before hanging up their rackets. Green Bay will travel to Minnesota on Sunday to play at 5:00 p.m. before turning around to head to Whitewater Monday for a 4:00 p.m. game to finish up the season.
