GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's tennis team (3-17, 0-0 HL) faced their final Division I program of the season this afternoon, being swept by Big Ten Minnesota (14-10, 6-5 B1G).
"Our number one, Yasmin, pushed her opponent really well in the second set before losing 6-4," said head coach
Brian Nelson. "The scores don't fully show how close some matches and sets were, but we'll take this into our last match of the season tomorrow as we try to finish with a win."
The team will make a quick turnaround for their final match of the season. Green Bay goes head-to-head with Whitewater on their opponent's court Monday for a 4:00 p.m. game.
