Green Bay, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) ---The Green Bay women's tennis team secured a close home victory this afternoon against SIUE, 4-3.

The Phoenix claimed the first points of the match with the team of junior Estelle Vanthier and sophomore Yasmin Glazbrook winning No. 1 doubles by the score of 7-5 and the pairing of sophomore Mia Melnizki and sophomore Tiana Glazbrook taking No. 2 doubles by the score of 6-4.

Following doubles, Tiana Glazbrook went on to win No. 4 singles 6-2, 6-3 to give Green Bay the 2-0 lead.  Estelle Vanthier then won No. 1 singles for the Phoenix, 6-2, 6-2, before the Cougars took the next three points to tie the match at 3-3.

During No. 6 singles, with everyone at Green Bay Tennis Center watching, junior Kaori Terunuma won 5-7, 6-2, 7-6 to secure the 4-3 victory for the Phoenix.
