GREEN BAY (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay softball team suffered a shutout at Oakland on Friday afternoon in the series opener, falling 4-0 to the host Golden Grizzlies.

Green Bay wasn't able to get any rhythm offensively on Friday afternoon in the series opener at Oakland, with the Phoenix amassing only three hits with zero runs.

Morgan Bihun and
Crystal Guzman all notched base hits for GB, with
Bailey Schultz drawing a walk, but none of the Phoenix baserunners were able to touch home.
Oakland tallied seven hits on its way to a 4-0 win over Green Bay, plating one run in the first before scoring a combined three runs in the fifth and sixth innings.
Green Bay will round out the series with OU tomorrow with a doubleheader. The first pitch of the day will be thrown out at 11 a.m. at Oakland Softball Field.
