GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's tennis team (6-11, 2-2 HL) concluded their last home match of the season with a win against Northern Kentucky (5-9, 1-3 HL) this morning, 5-2.
"Another good showing in doubles today," remarked head coach
Brian Nelson. "Then the men went on to win four of six singles all in straight sets to take a 5-0 lead. We would like to have finished off the last two but our opponents played tough and beat us; I wouldn't say we beat ourselves with mistakes."
The Phoenix have two more conference matches left in the 2019 slate, and will travel to Chicago to face UIC on Saturday at 1:00 p.m. before heading to Indianapolis to come head-to-head with IUPUI on Sunday at noon.
