(GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay men's tennis team (6-13, 2-4 HL) concluded their regular season this weekend, failing to come away with wins on the road. The Phoenix were downed by UIC (5-12, 4-0 HL) on Saturday, 6-1, and IUPUI (13-7, 3-1 HL) on Sunday, 5-2.
 
"The men had a tough weekend," admitted head coach Brian Nelson. "We had to play outdoors for first time yesterday at UIC with no prior practice. It was cold and windy and losing to UIC hurt our confidence. The men started out hot by winning the doubles point the next day, but after that we were only able to pick up one more point."

Green Bay will take the next two weeks to train for the Horizon League Championships, taking place on April 26-28 in West Lafayette, Indiana. Opponents and match times are TBA.
