GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) ---The Green Bay men's tennis team fell at home to Illinois State by the final score of, 2-5

The Redbirds earned the first point by winning a pair of tight doubles matches.  The pairing of freshman Teddy Razafindratsma and senior Ivan Radomirovic dropped No. 3 doubles 4-6, followed by the team of freshmen Satchel Benn and junior Kentaro Mizushima losing another nail biter 5-7.

Unfortunately for Green Bay, the visitors claimed the match by winning No. 5, No.3 and No. 4 singles to begin singles action.  However, George Botha and Satchel Benn were bright spots for the squad.  Botha won No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-4, while Benn took the victory in No. 2 singles 6-3, 6-7, 10-8 to give the Phoenix its two points of the match.

The men's tennis team will look to get back on track with matchups set against Chicago State and Eastern Illinois in Chicago, Illinois, next weekend (February 28 and 29).
