Chicago, Ill. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) ---The Green Bay men's tennis team completed their weekend with a neutral site victory over Eastern Illinois, 7-0.
The doubles team of junior
Kentaro Mizushima and freshman
Teddy Razafindratsima began the day for the Phoenix with a win in No. 3 doubles, 6-1. To secure the first point of the match, the pairing of junior
George Botha and sophomore
Dipin Wadhwa won No. 1 doubles by the score of 6-1.
To begin singles action, Wadhwa won the No. 5 match 6-4, 6-2, to give Green Bay the 2-0 lead. Razafindratsima followed with a win in No. 4 singles by the score of 6-3, 6-0. Mizushima officially claimed the match for the squad with a victory in the No. 3 slot, defeating Christos Kyrillou 7-5, 6-4.
To round out the day for the Phoenix: freshman
Satchel Benn won No. 1 singles 6-4, 6-4, Botha won the No. 2 match 7-5, 6-4, and senior
Lachlan Napier took the No. 1 singles match, 7-5, 4-6, 10-7.
"These were much needed wins for us this weekend," stated head coach Rob Oertel. "Our guys did a great job of staying focused and capitalized today."

The team now has nearly a month off until their next match when they'll take on Youngstown State to officially begin Horizon League play on March 21
