GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Enjoying one of the best days of the summer with temperatures in the mid-80s, over 200 supporters of the Green Bay women's basketball program hit the links on June 25 at Thornberry Creek at Oneida for the 2019 Prevea Fore Hoops Golf Classic.

The event, now in its 25th season, received overwhelming support from its attendees and raised money which will directly benefit the women's basketball program. The funds raised came from various auctions and drawings, along with a number of donations. The live auction, hosted by Local 5 Sports Director Burke Griffin, was once again a huge success.

During the event, golfers were able to meet with the Phoenix players and staff. Throughout the day, there were giveaways, contests, entertainment and prizes. The evening concluded with a banquet dinner at the clubhouse.
