GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) The Green Bay men's soccer team will begin Horizon League play this weekend as they are set to travel to Chicago and face the Flames on Saturday night.

Most Recently for the Phoenix: Last Friday, Green Bay earned a draw at Northern Illinois with a score of 1-1.
Clay Brown opened up the scoring in the 19
th minute after he netted his second goal of the season on an assist from
Andre Baires. Green Bay eventually conceded a late goal in the 80
th minute which led to the tie.

On Sunday, Green Bay opened up Aldo Santaga Stadium to the Western Michigan Broncos. The Phoenix were defeated 4-0. Green Bay totaled three shots, two saves, and registered one corner against one of the favorites to win the MAC.

Scouting the Flames: The Flames enter Saturday's match with a 3-1 record and a combined score of 8-1 (5-1, 3-0) against their previous two opponents in Valparaiso and Western Illinois. UIC was picked to finish second in the Horizon League this season in the preseason poll while Green Bay was picked to finish third. Last season the Phoenix defeated the Flames 2-0 so Green Bay will look to win back-to-back games against UIC for the first time since 2009 and 2010. Â Â
