GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – The Green Bay women's basketball program released its conference schedule in conjunction with the Horizon League on Wednesday, marking the official completion of its 2019-20 schedule.

The Phoenix begins its league campaign just prior to ringing in the New Year, as the Phoenix plays host to Northern Kentucky (Dec. 28) and Wright State (Dec. 30) to open the 18-game slate. Green Bay will then host in-state rival Milwaukee on Jan. 4 for its first matchup of 2020 before hitting the road for matchups at Oakland, Detroit Mercy.
Green Bay hits a stretch of five-straight road games from Jan. 24 to Feb. 8, but has a favorable finish as four of the six pairings down the stretch will be played within the friendly confines of the Kress Center.
The Horizon League Tournament will begin on March 3 with First Round matchups hosted at campus sites followed by quarterfinals with the same format. The semifinals and championship rounds will be hosted in Indianapolis, Ind., at Farmers Insurance Coliseum.
A few notes on Green Bay's 2019-20 schedule:
- GB will play 16 games at home and 16 games on the road, including two exhibition contests
- The Phoenix opens the season on Nov. 6 at Central Michigan
- Green Bay's last matchup of 2018 will be at home against defending champion Wright State
- The Phoenix will host Prevea School Day Jam on Thursday, Feb. 27 against Cleveland State
- Green Bay's first matchup at home will be against South Dakota on Nov. 9
