GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay men's soccer team returns to Horizon League play with its second matchup of the 2019 season, as the Phoenix host Oakland on Saturday night. In the preseason poll, both teams were picked to finish top four in the conference, so this proves to be a vital game for both sides.

Most Recently for the Phoenix:Â Green Bay hit the road for a mid-week matchup at Purdue Fort Wayne on Tuesday to face-off with the future Horizon League opponent. The Phoenix fell 1-0 in the contest but dominated the ball and notched 18 shots to the Mastodons' seven.
Scouting the Golden Grizzlies: Oakland started off conference play with a victory against the Cleveland State Vikings, last Saturday and are currently 3-1-1 on the year. Eight players have tallied a goal this year for the black and gold and as a team they have only given up five goals. Sullivan Lauderdale has been phenomenal in goal for the Golden Grizzlies, as he has manned the mesh in every minute thus far for Oakland. Last year in Rochester, Green Bay fell to the Golden Grizzlies in the 96
th minute and in the overall series between the two programs, Oakland has eight of the twelve wins.
