GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) – Head coach
Kevin Borseth will be inducted into the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Hall of Fame on Saturday, Sept. 28.
The ceremony will take place at the Glacier Canyon Lodge of the Wilderness Resort in the Wisconsin Dells.
Over Borseth's 32 seasons as a head coach, he has amassed an impressive record of 713-275. His 713 career wins ranks 19th all-time among DI women's basketball coaches. He also ranks inside the nation's top 10 in career wins among active DI coaches.
Borseth earned his 400th career win at the helm of the Phoenix women's basketball program this past season as GB advanced to the semifinals of the Horizon League Tournament.
Accolades and achievements have been frequent throughout Borseth's unprecedented career, as the seven-time Horizon League Coach of the Year has made 13 trips to the Division I NCAA Tournament and owns a .732 winning percentage.
Due in large part to Borseth's leadership, Green Bay is also featured in the nation's top 10 for winningest college basketball programs in the country. The Phoenix is one of only 12 teams to reach more than 1,000 wins, doing so in only 46 seasons.
