GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- The Green Bay women's basketball team will head to Normal, Ill., for a matchup at Illinois State on Saturday at 2 p.m. The Redbirds will make a return trip in the 2021-22 season.

Illinois State enters the weekend at 2-0, with wins over Saint Xavier (W, 98-53) and Western Illinois (W, 85-55). The Redbirds also take the court against Omaha on Thursday afternoon.
 
Green Bay was originally slated to play Youngstown State this weekend at home, but the game had to be canceled due to a positive COVID-19 test within the YSU program.
 
The Phoenix will return to its conference slate in the new year, as Green Bay makes a trip to Rochester, Mich., for games at the O'rena on Jan. 1 and Jan. 2.
