GREEN BAY --- The University Leadership Awards is a campus tradition that takes place at the end of each semester to honor UW-Green Bay's best and brightest students who have demonstrated leadership through academic success as well as campus and community involvement. Students are nominated by faculty, staff, and fellow students. They must then complete an extensive questionnaire detailing their classroom, campus and community achievements and contributions. A committee of faculty, staff and students reviews these applications before selecting recipients, who are honored at a special ceremony the evening before Commencement.
A total of three Green Bay student-athletes received the prestigious Chancellor's Leadership Medallion, with Morgan Courier and Emma Sloot of the women's soccer team and Rosalynn Stoa of the swimming and diving team being represented among the top of their graduating class.
Green Bay had a total of 11 student-athletes receive the University Leadership Award, as Taylor Reichow (women's soccer), Alicia Hanson (swimming and diving), Logan Johnsen (swimming and diving), Claire Stuart (swimming and diving), Kate Vanderhoef (swimming and diving), Quinn Duffy (Nordic ski), Shad Kraftson(Nordic ski), Anna Zajakowski (Nordic ski), Bailey Schultz (softball), Patrick Sicula (golf) and Taylor Wolf (volleyball).
COVID-19 Impact on the University Leadership Awards
In an effort to preserve the health and safety of students and guests of the university, the University Leadership Awards ceremony will no longer take place on May 15, 2020.
