MADISON, Wis. – The Green Bay men's basketball team made the trip south Friday night to take on in-state rival Wisconsin. The Phoenix struggled shooting from the floor, falling 72-34.
Wisconsin grabbed their first lead of the night at 6-4, and never trailed again. Steven Crowl led the way for the Badgers, scoring 18 points and grabbing seven rebounds. The Phoenix were led by Cem Kirciman and Tutu Majok, who each scored five points in the game.
Green Bay had trouble from the floor Friday night, shooting just 12-for-51 (23.5-percent) from the field and 3-for-16 (18.8-percent) from beyond the arc.

» Green Bay grabbed the first points of the contest thanks to a hook shot from Japannah Kellogg III.
» The Phoenix grabbed 31 rebounds compared to Wisconsin's 50.

RYAN FAMILY REUNION
Friday night was a special one for the Ryan family, as Wisconsin honored legendary coach Bo Ryan at halftime of the game. Head Coach Will Ryan spent five years on his father's staff at Wisconsin in the early 2000s.
UP NEXT
The Phoenix will prepare for the Jersey Mike's Classic next week in St. Petersburg, Fla. They'll kick the tournament off with a Thursday matchup against UNC Greensboro. Next, they'll take on FIU on Friday, November 19 at 7 p.m. Green Bay will wrap up the event with a Sunday, November 21 showdown with Weber State.
