GREEN BAY'S LAST TIME OUT
The Phoenix fell 2-0 at Purdue Fort Wayne on Sunday, with the Mastodons scored a goal right before the half before adding another one after the break. GB did hold an edge in shots at 12-10, with both teams placing four shots on goal. The Phoenix has now gone win, draw and a loss in its 3 matches to open the year. 

LAST MEETING WITH UIC
The Flames won last year's meeting 2-0 down in Chicago 2019, and GB won 2-0 back in 2018. Prior to that, UIC had won seven matches in a row. 
 
SCOUTING UIC
UIC sits atop the Horizon League table with an undefeated 3-0-1 record, coming off two wins against IUPUI and Milwaukee. The Flames opened up with a win at Wright State and earned a 2-2 draw with Oakland. UIC was a Horizon League preseason co-favorite with the Golden Grizzlies. 
 
SEASON FORMAT
Horizon League schools will play a complete round-robin schedule in men's soccer with every league school scheduled to play each other once in the regular season. The league schedule sees each school slated for 10 matches over 11 dates of competition with each school having one bye week. The opening day of the men's soccer season is set for Thursday, Feb. 4. Matches will continue to be held every sixth calendar day until the regular season concludes Monday, April 5. Horizon League championship information, including dates and format, will be announced once finalized.
