CHICAGO, Ill. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) --- Green Bay was able to take the second set, but host UIC took at the match by a 3-1 (25-15, 15-25, 25-18, 26-24) score to notch its fourth-consecutive victory. The Phoenix falls to 4-9 in the league season while the Flames improve to 10-1 and remain in second place.

The match also marked UIC's seventh-consecutive win within the confines of the Flames Athletic Center.

Alexandra Zakutney led the Phoenix with 12 kills on the evening, notching seven digs and two aces in the process.
Ashley Sledge joined Zakutney in double digits with 10 kills on only 20 swings, hitting .300 for the match.

Calli Gentry notched a double-double in the matchup, doling out 35 assists and registering 11 digs. Martina Delucchi led UIC's attack with 12 kills.

The hosts hit .226 (51k-21e-133a), while the Green and White finished at .168 (47k-23e-143a) on the night.

The Phoenix will take on the Flames in a rematch tomorrow at 4 p.m. CT with the game being steamed on ESPN+.
