GREEN BAY – Head coach
Will Ryan announced the roster addition of Donovan Ivory on Thursday morning. Ivory, a 6-6 guard hailing from Kaukauna, Wis., comes to the Phoenix following a season with Boise State.
"We're excited to welcome Donovan back to Wisconsin and into our Phoenix family," Ryan said. "He's a multi-dimensional player who will be able to contribute on both ends of the floor. His team-first mentality, ability to score, rebound and defensive versatility will be a major asset to our program."
Ivory attended Kaukauna High School, leading the Ghosts to the sectional final as a senior. Ivory was named first-team all-state by the Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association and honorable mention by the Associated Press after averaging 20.4 points, 7.8 rebounds, 3.0 assists, 2.5 steals and 1.8 assists in his final prep campaign.
"Playing at Green Bay is a dream come true," Ivory said. "I've always wanted to rep my home state in front of friends and family, and being at GB I get to do just that. I'm really excited to get on campus and get to work with the guys."
Ivory is the second official signing by the Phoenix this offseason, joining Belmont transfer Mitch Listau.
