GREEN BAY, Wis. (GreenBayPhoenix.com) - The Green Bay Men's Soccer program has announced its Summer Training Center dates for 2021. Two one day camps will be held on June 15
th (morning and evening) and a two-day camp will be held on July 31-August 1. June 15
th is designed for student athletes who are completing their Junior and Senior years of high school whose recruiting has been very negatively affected by COVID, but the camp is open to all high school aged players. The two-day camp on July 31
st is designed for all high school aged players. Both camps will be a great opportunity for high school-aged players to participate in a college-training environment and be coached by the staff at UW-Green Bay.
The goal of each Training Center is to provide top high school-aged players an experience that will truly introduce them to a day in life of a college soccer player. These are a unique experience that will introduce the requirements of what it takes to play soccer at the collegiate level.
In addition to providing the college experience, the Training Centers are a place where top players will be able to train develop their skills with high level coaching and competition during the winter, spring and summer months.
Invitations will be sent to all the college coaches from the region to attend.
Over the past 5 years of Training Centers the Phoenix have added over 10 camp alumni to their roster which includes starters and all conference performers.
