GRAND FORKS, ND -- The Green Bay volleyball team finished the UND Classic on a positive note on Saturday, holding off tournament-host North Dakota in five sets. GB won the first two sets before UND took the next two, but the Phoenix held off the Fighting Hawks 15-12 in the deciding set.
The Phoenix were led by a double-double from Cora Behnke, who registered 23 kills and 13 digs on the day. Alexandra Zakutney also added 14 kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Calli Gentry chipped in for GB with 28 digs to go with five blocks from Tiffany Paalman.

How It Happened
SET 1 |The Phoenix opened up an early one set to none lead, winning the first set 25-20.
SET 2 | After their win in the first set, Green Bay put themselves on the cusp of a sweep with a 25-21 victory in set number two.
SET 3 | Green Bay couldn't end the match in a sweep, losing the third set to make their lead two sets to one in the match. The Phoenix fell in the third set 25-23.
SET 4 | Green Bay then dropped their second straight set 31-29 to bring the match level at two sets apiece.Â
SET 5 |Â The Phoenix grabbed the fifth set thanks to a solid performance on the attacking side. Green Bay put together a .345 attack percentage with 12 kills in the set win.Â
UP NEXT: Green Bay will travel to Dekalb, Illinois, next week for a pair of matches at NIU. GB will face Northern Illinois on Thursday and the No. 2-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on Friday.Â
