DEKALB, IL --Cora Behnke and Alexandra Zakutney each secured double-doubles to help propel the Green Bay volleyball team to a 3-1 win (25-21, 20-25, 25-18, 25-22) against the Northern Illinois Huskies Thursday on the road at Victor E Court.
The out-of-conference win improved the Phoenix's overall record to 5-6 on the season, with a matchup against the 2nd-ranked Wisconsin Badgers on deck for tomorrow night back at NIU.
The Phoenix was led by double-doubles from both Behnke, who had 15 kills and 21 digs, and Zakutney, who had 21 kills and 12 digs. Shannon Coughlin also added six kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Isis Rabello chipped in for GB with 14 digs to go with five blocks from Tiffany Paalman.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Phoenix grabbed the first set 25-21 powered by a solid performance on the attacking side. Green Bay put together a .389 attack percentage with 17 kills in the set victory. The Phoenix rallied from down six at 13-7 to claim the win.
SET 2 | Green Bay fell in the second set 25-20 to even the match 1-1. Northern Illinois grabbed the advantage for good at 21-20 in a set that was tied up seven times before the Huskies took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 3 | Green Bay fired back following the set-two loss to grab the third set and a 2-1 lead in the match. The Phoenix took the set 25-18. Green Bay took the lead for good at 15-14 in a set that showcased four lead changes before the Phoenix took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 4 | Green Bay kept the momentum going, claiming the match win with a 25-22 set-four victory. A solid performance on the attacking side led the Phoenix to victory in the set. Green Bay put together a .400 attack percentage with 17 kills in the set win. The Phoenix opened up a 14-8 lead in the stanza and coasted to victory from there.
