LAST TIME OUT
Green Bay opened Horizon League play on Saturday night, but fell to Cleveland State 4-1, with the two teams playing evenly for 60 minutes before the Vikings broke through. GB was able to get a goal late on a penalty kick by Eysteinn Bjorgvinsson, but CSU answer just five minutes later to go up 4-1. GB had 7 shots on goal, while CSU had only four, and scored on all four attempts. The loss snapped a four-game winning streak against Cleveland State.

NON-LEAGUE AHEAD
The Phoenix will play three more nonconference matches this season, starting with St. Thomas. GB will also travel to Eastern Illinois and host Northern Illinois on Sept. 25. 

ABOUT ST. THOMAS
The Tommies are still searching for their first win this season, sitting at 0-6-0 in 2021. The Tommies have played only one home game this year and five on the road, with the trip to Green Bay being their sixth. St. Thomas has been shutout in three straight matches and has been held scoreless in four matches out of six this year.

WHAT'S AFTER ST. THOMAS
Green Bay will get back to HL play with a trip to Wright State on Saturday for a 12 p.m. CT kickoff in Ohio.
