STILL UNBEATEN
The Phoenix continued its unbeaten streak to start 2021 with a 3-1 win over Northern Illinois last Thursday, winning its third-straight match against nonconference opponents. That match wrapped up the nonconference portion of the schedule for GB, which included wins over St. Thomas, Chicago State and Northern Illinois. GB has outscored its opponents 8-3 in the four games and is averaging 2.0 goals per game over that stretch.Â
KERTSCHER PLAYER OF THE WEEK
Kertscher notched the first hat trick for Green Bay since 2009 after netting three goals in a 3-1 win over Northern Illinois, which kept the Phoenix undefeated this season at 3-0-1. Kertscher scored all three goals in the first half, all within 10 minutes of one another. The junior is now tied for third in the Horizon League in goals scored with four this season, and has been key to Green Bay's hot start to the season.
ABOUT ROBERT MORRIS
The Colonials pulled off a weekend sweep of Delaware State and Hampton last week and are riding a three-game win streak for the first time since October of 2017 after 2-1 and 4-2 wins to close out non-conference play. After her offensive outburst over the weekend,Â
Haleigh Finale leads all Colonials in overall scoring with ten points (2G, 6A) and is tied for the team lead in goals with Lecuona, Veloso-Lima and freshmanÂ
Emily Rocco. The Colonials continue to pepper opposing goalkeepers at a high rate so far this season, currently  ranking second in the Horizon League in total shots at 123 and second in shots per game at 15.38, behind only Milwaukee. As a squad, RMU has out shot their opponents in seven of eight games in 2021. Â
