INDIANAPOLIS, IN --The Green Bay volleyball team fired back after dropping set one to secure a 3-1 win (21-25, 25-17, 25-19, 25-16) against the IUPUI Jaguars Friday on the road at IUPUI Gymnasium.
The conference win improved Green Bay's record to 7-7 overall and a perfect 2-0 in Horizon League action.
The Phoenix was led by a double-double from Alexandra Zakutney, who registered 13 kills and 10 digs on the day. Tiffany Paalman also added 16 kills to help the offense. On the defensive end, Abby Gardner chipped in for GB with 20 digs to go with seven blocks from Paalman.

How It Happened
SET 1 | The Phoenix found themselves in an early hole, losing the first set 25-21. IUPUI grabbed the advantage for good at 15-14 in a set that was knotted up six times before the Jaguars took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 2 | Green Bay rallied from a first-set loss to take the second set 25-17, evening the match at one set apiece. The Phoenix took a 1-0 lead and never looked back in the set to secure the victory. Green Bay opened up as much as a 10 point lead at 22-12 before finishing off the set, totaling 15 kills in the set. The Green Bay offense also got a boost from four aces in the stanza.
SET 3 | Green Bay won again in the third set to take a 2-1 match lead. The Phoenix grabbed the set 25-19. Green Bay took the lead for good at 15-14 in a set that showcased two lead changes before the Phoenix took over in the second half of the stanza.
SET 4 | Green Bay earned a match win with a 25-16 fourth-set victory, winning their third straight set. The Phoenix took the lead for good at 15-14 in a set that showcased two lead changes before the Phoenix took over in the second half of the stanza. Green Bay also supplemented their offense with three aces in the set.
