CHICAGO, Illinois -- Green Bay earned a 2-1 overtime victory against Chicago St. Sunday (Sept. 5) on the road at Wish Field. It's the second-straight win for Green Bay, following its victory over St. Thomas on Thursday.
Green Bay improved to 2-0-1 on the season following the win, remaining undefeated through three games.Â
How it Happened
Green Bay grabbed a 1-0 lead when Mckayla Kertscher scored her first goal of the season in the eighth minute.
The Cougars responded to tie the game on a goal from Jayla Gage in the 69th minute, assisted by Lorall Romain.
Green Bay went on top 2-1 on Emily Murphy's 93rd-minute goal, her first of the season. The golden goal finished the overtime game.
