ROCHESTER, Mich. --The Green Bay volleyball team took care of business in straight sets (25-20, 25-18, 25-20) to take down the Oakland Golden Grizzlies Saturday on the road at Athletics Center O'Rena.

The victory improved the Phoenix's record to 21-10 overall and 12-5 in league play. Green Bay's last two results have seen them wrap up the no. 3 seed for the Horizon League Championships on November 18-20.

The Phoenix offense was paced by Alexandra Zakutney, who finished with 12 kills on the day, and by Shannon Coughlin, who also had 12 while hitting .393. The Phoenix had three players reach double figures in digs, including Calli Gentry's 15, 14 from Kayla Lass, and 13 more from Annelise Sparks.

HOW IT HAPPENED
SET 1 | The Phoenix opened up an early one set to none lead after winning the first set 25-20. Green Bay never trailed by more than five points and grabbed the advantage for good at 11-10 in a set that showcased two lead changes before the Phoenix took over the lead. 17 of their 25 points came via the kill in the opening frame. Green Bay also supplemented their offense with four aces.

SET 2 | Green Bay grabbed a 25-18 victory in set number two to set the stage for their 15^th sweep of the season. The Phoenix once again grabbed the lead for good at 11-10 in a set that showcased three lead changes. The Phoenix hit .300 over the course of the set.

SET 3 | GB jumped out to a 3-0 lead and never trailed, eventually securing the sweep with a 25-20 third set win. Green Bay opened up as much as a six-point lead at 18-12 before finishing off the set, totaling 17 kills in the process.

GAME NOTES
» Calli Gentry had a match-high five aces in the win.
» Angie Gromos and Cora Behnke finished the match with nine kills apiece.
» GB hit .258 while holding Oakland to .198.
» Green Bay attackers were helped by a match-high 41 assists from Calli Gentry.

COMING UP
The Green & White will close out the regular season at Milwaukee on Friday, November 11 at 6 p.m. The Horizon League Championships will start the following week on November 18.
