KANSAS CITY, Mo. – The United Soccer Coaches Association has released the 2022 men's soccer All-Region awards, and Hesron Barry was named to the All-North Region Second Team.

Barry was named the Horizon League Defensive Player of the Year after leading the league's best defense. The Phoenix allowed just 0.81 goals per match, while no other HL school was under one. Barry was also one of three Phoenix alongside goalkeeper Tobias Jahn and Ruben Linden to be named Horizon League Defensive Player of the Week.
