GREEN BAY, Wis. - The Green Bay women's basketball team has received an at-large bid to the Women's National Invitational Tournament, the WNIT announced Sunday night. GB will learn its first round matchup tomorrow at 1 p.m. CT. 

The Phoenix will be competing in the tournament for the first time since the 2018-19 season, and just the sixth time in program history. 

The 2022 field features 30 automatic qualifiers, which are teams that are the next-highest finishers in their conference's regular season that were not tabbed for the NCAA Tournament. The other 34 teams are at-large selections, chosen after consideration of a mix of criteria by WNIT officials.
