GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay women's basketball team is set to host Minnesota at the Kress Center in the WNIT opening round Thursday, March 17 at 7 p.m. CT.

GB is making its sixth WNIT appearance all-time, with Thursday's game marking just the second time the Phoenix has hosted. The last time GB competed in the postseason WNIT was the 2018-19 season, when they hosted Kent State at the Kress Center. The Phoenix fell in that game, 64-59.
The Phoenix will look to grab its first ever WNIT win Thursday night against a familiar postseason foe. GB and Minnesota squared off in the first round of the 2014 WNIT, with Minnesota coming out on top 62-60. Green Bay is 6-8 all-time against the Golden Gophers.
TICKETS
Below are the details regarding tickets for that game:
- Tickets will be sold as general admission at $10.00 per ticket.
- Season ticket holders will need to purchase tickets for this game.
- Students will receive free admission to the game.
- Tickets will go on sale on Tuesday, March 15 at Noon.
- Fans can purchase tickets online or by calling 920-465-2625 once they go on sale.
