GREEN BAY, Wis. - Friday afternoon, head coach
Kevin Borseth and the Green Bay women's basketball program announced the addition of guard Natalie McNeal. McNeal joins Tatum Koenig as the second addition to the Phoenix roster this offseason.
"We are thrilled that Natalie will be joining our team," said Borseth. "We recruited her heavily out of high school and are excited she is coming back to her home state. She has proven experience, is an outstanding athlete, very determined, and while she can score in a multitude of ways, she excels in the mid-range game. Natalie is a neat kid who fits our culture and will make Green Bay Basketball better on and off the court."
McNeal is coming to Green Bay after two years at St. Louis University. This past season with the Billikens, she averaged 9.4 points per game, the third-most on the team. The Germantown, Wis. native was one of the most consistent performers for SLU a year ago, finishing the year as the only Billiken to play in all 27 games. McNeal does a little bit of everything on the court - aside from her 9.4 points per game, she also averaged 5.3 rebounds and 1.9 assists.
"Green Bay women's basketball has a great culture that drives them to success," McNeal added. "I'm really excited to come back to Wisconsin and be a part of something really special!"
