GREEN BAY, Wis. – Green Bay men's basketball head coach
Will Ryan announced the addition of Jack Rose on Monday afternoon. The Bristol, Wis. native comes to Green Bay after an illustrious career at Westosha Central High School. Rose joins seven others as an addition to the 2022-23 roster and is the third true freshman in the class along with Donavan Short and Amari Jedkins.
"We are thrilled to add another Wisconsinite in Jack to our already strong incoming freshman class," Ryan said. "Jack is a multi-faceted and skilled guard who knows how to play with and without the ball in his hands. As Westosha Central's all-time leading scorer, he's shown he can score at all three levels. He also does a remarkable job using his craftiness and high basketball IQ to move well without the ball and hunt scoring opportunities. Jack is a quality on and off-ball defender who moves his feet well, understands angles, and where to be in help side. Having played three sports (basketball, baseball, and volleyball), we know he is a versatile athlete who loves to compete. Phoenix fans are going to love Jack's tough-nosed, competitive fire and winning pedigree!"
