GREEN BAY, Wis. --- Going into the program's 54th season, head coach Jeremy Bonomo has unveiled the 2022 Green Bay men's soccer schedule. Bonomo is entering his eighth season at the helm of the program. The schedule consists of 16 regular-season games, nine of which are Horizon League contests, as well as two exhibition games.

"The 2022 schedule will be bringing more of our usual balance after the shake-up with COVID over the last season," Bonomo remarked. "We start with two BIG-10 opponents in the preseason to get us tested and prepared for the start of the regular season. Our non-conference schedule will allow our roster of fresh faces to get the experience they need prior to Horizon League play."
 
The 2022 season will start with an exhibition on Aug. 13 against Northwestern in Rockford, Illinois. The final exhibition will come one week later when the Phoenix host in-state rival Wisconsin on Aug. 20 at 3 p.m. Last year, the Phoenix took down Bucky 2-1 during the regular season, scoring both goals in the final three minutes. 
 
Green Bay's regular season will start with a pair of games at Aldo Santaga Stadium, starting with Eastern Illinois on Aug. 25 and Chicago State on Aug. 28.
 
GB will play six games in September, including three home games. Bradley will come to town on Sept. 4, Wright State will come to town for GB's Horizon League opener on Sept. 17, and Detroit Mercy will visit Titletown on Sept. 28. 
 
The Phoenix will try to take back the Chancellor's Cup when Milwaukee travels up I-43 to Green Bay on Oct. 8. The Panthers took down GB last year 1-0 in the Cream City. GB then hosts Oakland on Oct. 12 before finishing the season with three of their four on the road. The final regular season home game is on Oct. 29 when Robert Morris will visit Aldo Santaga Stadium.
