The Phoenix and Bison will be meeting for the eighth time on Friday, with NDSU owning a 5-2-0 record against Green Bay. North Dakota and GB last met on August 19, 2018, when the Bison defeated GB 4-1. McKayla Kertscher had an assist on Green Bay's lone goal.

It will be just the third time GB has played at NDSU.  North Dakota State has outscored GB 3-0 when playing at Dacotah Field.

ABOUT THE BISON
Mike Regan enters his fifth season at NDSU with a record of 29-36-7. Before coming to North Dakota, he was an assistant for two years at Indiana. The Bison made it to the Summit League Championship Semifinals in Regan's first season in 2018.

Kelsey Kallio and Paige Goaley are two names to watch for the hosts. Goaley is tied with Olivia Lovick with two goals scored each. She is also tied with Alicia Need for most shots on goal (4). As for Kallio, she paces the Bison in both assists (2) and shots (10).

PAGELS PUNCHING IN
Zoey Pagels has made her presence known with the Phoenix in her first year of collegiate soccer. The 2022 WSCA First Team All-State member leads the team with two goals and five shots on goal. She is tied with McKayla Kertscher for most points (4) and is tied with freshman counterpart Katelyn Fishnick for second-most shots (6) on the squad.

RECORD SCRATCH
Goalkeeper Annie Mason has been stellar since coming to Green Bay last season. With the 3-0 shutout of Western Illinois on August 25, Mason tied Nastacia Behle (2012-15) and Brooke Wikgren (2004-07) for third all-time in GB history. Mason's next clean sheet would put her alone in third. Barb Singer holds the most career shutouts in GB history with 17.

NEW PHOENIX FACES
GB has 13 newcomers on the 2022 roster, including 12 freshmen and one junior. Katelyn Fishnick, Zoey Pagels, and Sierra Morgano, three of the freshmen, highlight the 2022 recruiting class. Fishnick was a WSCA First Team All-State member, Pagels was the WSCA Player of the Year in 2022, and Morgano became a U.S. Youth Soccer National Champion in 2022. Morgano is one of three players to play all 360 minutes, while Fishnick is tied with Audrey Cassata for the second-most shots on goal (2).
