Green Bay is 51-35 all-time against Cleveland State but has dropped five straight to the Vikings including an 82-77 loss on Jan. 7, 2023. The Phoenix is 29-12 at home against CSU.

The Phoenix is 2-4 all-time against Purdue Fort Wayne. Green Bay started the all-time series 2-0 but has dropped four straight. In this year's matchup, GB fell 79-69. Clarence Cummings III led GB with 23 points while PFW's Jarred Godfrey matched it with 23 of his own.

ABOUT THE VIKINGS
Daniyal Robinson is in his first season with CSU and has put Cleveland State in a spot to claim at least a share of the Horizon League title heading into the final weekend of the season. Currently sitting just a half of a game behind Youngstown State with a game in hand, the Vikings are in prime position to grab their third straight regular season league title.

The Vikings spread the wealth offensively, with four averaging in double figures, led by Tristan Enaruna's 14.9 points and 6.6 rebounds per game.

ABOUT THE MASTODONS
After finishing second in the Horizon League a year ago, Purdue Fort Wayne has struggled to replicate that success. Currently sitting at 8-10 in HL play, good for ninth in the standings.

Jerred Godfrey, a veteran of the Mastodons, leads the team with 17.6 points per contest. Bobby Planutis also averaged in double figures at 10.7 points per game.

LAST MATCHUP
Green Bay dropped a 95-65 game against Youngstown State in Ohio. The Phoenix trailed by seven points at the half but couldn't keep pace in the second half. Cade Meyer had a double-double, tallying 14 points and 10 rebounds. Ryan Wade scored a season-high 13 points, while Jack Rose and Davin Zeigler also hit double figures for Green Bay.

NEW BEGINNINGS
Assistant coach Freddie Owens was named interim head coach on January 24. Owens boasts over 15 years of coaching experience and had previous stops at Loyola-Maryland, College of the Holy Cross, Utah Valley State, Oregon State, and Iowa State. He was a two-year starter and four-year letter winner at Wisconsin, where he was the co-captain of the Badgers' 2002 and 2003 Big Ten regular-season and 2004 Big Ten Tournament Championship teams. Owens grew up in Milwaukee and attended Washington High School. He earned his first career win as a head coach Monday night in Milwaukee.

COMING ON STRONG
Junior guard Davin Zeigler has been a revelation for the Phoenix in February. He hit two crucial shots in the Feb. 6 victory against Milwaukee, draining a triple to force overtime and a long two for the win. He has stayed consistent, averaging 12.0 points per game during the month of February.

SPREADING THE LOVE
Green Bay has had three or more players score in double digits in four of its last five games. All four games featured a different leading scorer. Randy Tucker scored 20 against Milwaukee, Davin Zeigler dropped 14 against Oakland, Clarence Cummings III put in 20 versus Detroit Mercy, and Cade Meyer scored 14 against Youngstown State.

RUNNING WITH RYAN
Senior guard Ryan Wade has stepped up in a big way in the past month. After starting the season as a rotation player, Wade has started six of the last eight games at point guard for Green Bay. He is averaging 30.5 minutes per game in February and scored a season-high 13 points against Youngstown State on Feb. 18.

COUNT ON CUMMINGS
Clarence Cummings III has provided consistency in his first season for the Phoenix. Cummings is shooting 42.5 percent from the field and averages 10.4 points per game, good for second on the team behind Cade Meyer. He is also third on the team in rebounds per game at 3.6. Cummings has been a mainstay for Green Bay, leading the team with 30.0 minutes per game while starting 26 of GB's 27 games.

MAKIN' MEYER
Sophomore forward Cade Meyer has taken a second-year leap. The Monroe, Wisconsin native leads the team in scoring (11.0), rebounding (5.2), and field goal percentage (57.5 percent). He has three double-doubles on the season and has been Green Bay's leading scorer in 10 games this year.

ON THE HORIZON
Just two games remain on the docket for the Phoenix during the regular Season. GB is currently the no. 10 seed in the Horizon League, but IUPUI trails by one game.
