HOWEY-IN-THE-HILLS, Fla. – Green Bay women's golf dominated the links on Monday in the second round of the Horizon League Golf Championships, finishing just eight over par as a squad. The performance propelled them from sixth, where they started the day, to first place. Tomorrow, they will attempt to finish off the program's first-ever title.
The GB men will enter Tuesday's final round in last place.
COMPLETE WOMEN'S RESULTS
Ashley Kulka was sensational, scoring a 72 (E) after tallying a 77 yesterday. She is in a tie for second place individually. Isabelle Maleki was as spectacular, recording a 73 (+1) on the day, improving from a 79 (+7) in round one. Maleki, who was at one point three under par, is in fourth place. Freshman Ellie Frisch moved up the ranks on day two, notching a 76 (+4) to earn a tie for 13th place. Courtney Matschke scored a 75 (+3) to climb into the top 15 overall, while Caylie Kotlowski rounded out the team with a 78 (+6).
The Phoenix is among four teams, including Cleveland State, Oakland, and IUPUI, to have two players inside the top 10 individually. Sabrina Coffman of the Vikings leads all players with a 147 (+3).

Joe Forsting led Green Bay on day two, recording a 74 (+2). He is in a tie for 30th individually. Teammate Ryan Schuelke is just four strokes back with a 158 (+14). Zak Kulka recorded a 78 (+6) and is tied for 42nd place overall.
