GREEN BAY, Wis. – The Green Bay women's soccer team will look to tally their first win of the season Sunday afternoon when they welcome the Drake Bulldogs to Aldo Santaga Stadium.
GB opened the season with a 4-1 loss to Kansas State on Thursday. Grace Miller notched her first career goal in the 10th minute, thanks to a ricochet off teammate Aleah Reesman.

ALLOW ME TO INTRODUCE MYSELF
The team officially announced the addition of 14 newcomers to the roster on June 21. Head Coach Julie Grutzner, entering her second full season, acquired 11 true freshmen and three transfers. A dozen players return from the 2022 squad.
IT'S MILLER TIME
Grace Miller delivered the first goal of the season for Green Bay during the 10th minute of Thursday's contest against Kansas State. The midfielder controlled a ricochet off teammate Aleah Reesman and found the back of the net. The score also marked Miller's first career goal.
SOPHOMORE SENSATION
Zoey Pagels led the team with three goals last season as a freshman. The Oregon, Wisconsin native also paced the Phoenix in points (5), while posting the team's second-highest shot total (15) and shots on goal total (11). Pagels kicked the lone goal in a 1-0 win over Cleveland State at Aldo Santaga Stadium on October 9, 2022.
