BATAVIA, Ohio – The opening tournament of the spring schedule for Green Bay women's golf came to a close Tuesday afternoon. Green Bay finished in third place, just one stroke back of second-place finisher IUPUI and two strokes back of Purdue Fort Wayne, who took first.

GB impressed with three individuals in the top-10, including Caylie Kotlowski (2^nd), freshman Riley Pechinski (T-7^th), and Lexi Meade (T-9^th). Kotlowski tallied a 75 after recording a 73 in Monday's opening round. Pechinski was consistent, scoring a 75 in round one and a 76 in round two. Meade improved from her score of 78 on Monday to notch a 74 on Tuesday, thanks in part to three birdies on the back nine. Ellie Frisch had four birdies on the back nine to finish with a 76 (+4) in Tuesday's action.

"We were in it right until the end," said Director of Men's and Women's Golf, Lee Reinke. "Pleased with our score overall, taking third, and with three individuals placing in the top ten."

The Phoenix will be back in action April 5-6 at the Western Illinois Spring Invite. Final team results are listed below.
