Indianapolis, Ind. - The Horizon League has announced that two Green Bay runners have been named the Under Armour #HLXC Runner of the Week and Freshman of the Week after their performances at the Bradley Pink Classic. For the fourth time this season, junior Noah Jahnke has earned the men's honors, while this is Cianna Wipperfurth's second time being honored.
Jahnke placed first in the Bradley Pink Classic with an 8K time of 23:30.35, breaking his own school record in the process. Jahnke finished 13 seconds before second place and helped the Phoenix to a 12th-place finish in Peoria.
Wipperfurth was the first Phoenix to cross the finish line on Friday with a 6K time of 22:05.7, a personal best by more than a minute. Wipperfurth scored in 80th for the Phoenix and was the 4th fastest Horizon League runner at the meet.
