GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Green Bay Athletics and Badger State Brewing have announced they are set to relaunch Phoenix Rising as a citrus wheat beer on June 12th at 5 PM at Badger State Brewing's taproom.
June 12th will be the first time Phoenix fans and beer fans will have the opportunity to try Phoenix Rising Citrus Wheat. The beer will be available for purchase in cans and on draught. All Phoenix fans, supporters, alumni, students (21+) are invited to come out and try Phoenix Rising Citrus Wheat for the first time. Phoenix Rising Citrus Wheat, which was
crafted by the Badger State Brewing staff, is an easy-drinking citrus wheat that is 5.2% ABV and
great for all occasions. The can design features Green Bay Phoenix branding, including the popular Phoenix logo that is an ode to the former greats that have suited up for the Phoenix. The beer was formally a red lager style beer in a green can design.

Green Bay Phoenix Athletics supports 14 NCAA Division I varsity men's and women's sports, with 12 competing in the Horizon League. Entering their 42nd year of Division I athletics, and serving as the only Division I school in the State of Wisconsin north of Madison, the Phoenix is "Northeast Wisconsin's Division I Team." The Phoenix has won 45 conference championships including 27 in women's basketball and four in men's basketball, and have made 25 total appearances in NCAA March Madness tournaments.
