GREEN BAY, Wis. – Under the guidance of the Assistant AD for Academic Services,
Mike Kline, GB student-athletes have finished with a 3.3 or better for the 21
st straight semester. Phoenix student-athletes have also had a 3.0 or better GPA for the past 51 semesters. Kline, the longest-tenured member in the Green Bay Athletics department, has overseen the rise and continued academic excellence of the Green Bay student-athlete body.
The spring 2025 GPA was another strong one for Green Bay student-athletes, with the Phoenix recording a 3.58 GPA, a top-5 mark in the history of the athletic department.
11 of Green Bay's 14 athletic programs had over a 3.55 GPA. Over 73.36 percent of Phoenix student-athletes finished with a GPA above 3.5, including 29.1 percent coming in with a perfect 4.0. On the team side, women's golf led the way with a 3.95, while the men's golf team finished with a 3.88. Both teams won the Horizon League Raise Your Sights Award yesterday for finishing with the highest team GPA's across all HL teams.
