MOON TOWNSHIP, Pa. - The Green Bay men's basketball team returned to the win column Saturday afternoon, defeating Robert Morris 71–67 on the road.
The Phoenix (12-10, 7-4) had three players score in double figures, led by C.J. O'Hara, who finished with 18 points. Caden Wilkins and Justin Allen each had 17 points, and Allen added a team-high nine rebounds.
Green Bay shared the ball well in Saturday's game, racking up 19 assists on 27 made field goals. Individually, Marcus Hall and Preston Ruedinger both had five assists to lead the team.
Robert Morris (13-10, 5-6) was led by DeSean Goode, who scored 17 points and pulled down a game-high 12 rebounds. Ryan Prather Jr. added 14 points, and Nikolaos Chitikoudis also contributed with 10 points and seven rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Green Bay started off to a slow start, trailing 8-2 early, before going on a 16-2 run, capped off by a Hall layup to take an 18-10 lead with 11:15 left in the first half. The Phoenix maintained that lead the rest of the half, going up 40-33 going into the break.
RMU rallied early in the second half, highlighted by a Josh Hill three-pointer to give the Colonials a 41–40 lead. Green Bay responded with a 12–0 run, capped by back-to-back Wilkins' threes, to take a 52–41 lead with 13:58 remaining in the contest. The Colonials trimmed the deficit to as low as three points with nine seconds left after a Goode three, but never came any closer, as the Phoenix held on for a 71–67 win.

» Green Bay and Robert Morris each brought down 33 rebounds as a team; the Colonials had 11 offensive rebounds, compared to the Phoenix's seven.

Green Bay returns home for a pair of Horizon League home games against Cleveland State on Friday and Wright State on Sunday next week.
