HOW IT HAPPENED
After jumping out to a 12-10 advantage, Green Bay went on a 9-0 run with 4:07 left in the first quarter to increase its lead to 21-10, a score that would hold for the rest of the period. Green Bay did most of its first-quarter damage in the paint, scoring 14 of its 21 points close to the basket.

The Phoenix kept that first-quarter lead intact before going on another run, this time 9-0, starting at the 8:04 mark in the second period, highlighted by a three-pointer from Ellie Buzzelle, to increase its lead to 32-13. The Titans cut into that lead before half's end, outscoring Green Bay 15-2 in the final five minutes to cut the GB lead to 34-28.

Following intermission, Green Bay and Detroit continued a close game, with the advantage going to Green Bay at 43-34 before GB ripped off an 8-0 run, punctuated by a basket from Schultz, to expand its lead to 51-34 with 4:15 to go in the third. Before the conclusion of the third, the Titans once again cut into that lead, but a buzzer beater by Skorupski added two points to give the Phoenix a 56-41 edge entering the fourth.

Shortly into the start of the fourth, the Green & White widened its lead with another 7-0 run, finished off by Guyer's layup, to take a 65-47 advantage with 5:10 to go in the contest. The Titans narrowed the margin before the game was over, but the Phoenix still controlled the game down the stretch, taking it by a score of 72-61.
