GREEN BAY, Wis. - February 4th marks the 40th celebration of National Girls & Women in Sports Day. Since its inception in 1987, NGWSD is a day to honor the achievements of girls and women in sport. The celebration also highlights the importance of confidence, strength, and character that is gained through sports participation.
As part of National Girls and Women in Sports Day, Green Bay athletics would like to invite youth girls to our first-ever NGWSD Clinic on February 14th in the East/West Gyms of the Kress Center. This is a FREE clinic open to all girls in the 8th grade and under and will include a ticket voucher for a Zone B ticket to the Phoenix Women's Basketball game against Northern Kentucky at 1 PM.
This clinic will include interactions with GB student-athletes in various sports and activities.
The day will feature:
Check in: 10:30 AM
Clinic: 11 AM – 12 PM
Phoenix Women's Basketball Game: 1 PM
