GREEN BAY, Wis. -- Justin Allen scored a season-high 34 points to help lead the Green Bay men's basketball team over Purdue Fort Wayne 76-59 at home on Thursday.
The Phoenix (15-12, 10-6) had three players score in double figures, led by Allen, who had 34 points. Marcus Hall tacked on 15 points, and C.J. O'Hara chipped in as well with 14 points.
Purdue Fort Wayne (14-12, 8-7) was led by Corey Hadnot II with 16 points. Deangelo Elisee added 10 points, and Mikale Stevenson also contributed with eight points and five rebounds.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Green Bay started the game on a 13-0 run, capped off by a Hall three-point play to take an early lead with 14:56 left in the first half. The Phoenix then added six points to that lead by the end of the period and entered halftime with a 42-23 advantage. Green Bay did most of its first-half damage in the paint, scoring 26 of its 42 points close to the basket.
Green Bay kept its lead intact before going on a 6-0 run, finished off by Allen's layup, to increase the lead to their highest lead of the game at 50-28 with 17:37 to go in the contest. The Phoenix coasted the rest of the game, never letting the lead drop below 15 in the second half, rolling to the 76-59 win.

Green Bay travels to Milwaukee on Sunday, with tip-off set for 2 p.m. CST. Following Sunday's game, the Phoenix will travel to Michigan for a pair of games against Oakland and Detroit Mercy next weekend.
